When swallows fly high, the weather will be fine. They're catching insects in the air, and the higher the insects, the drier the sky. So says Farmer Oscar.
Farmer Oscar also says he doesn't know about cows lying down when it's going to rain, but he does know that they go to the highest part of the field when it's not going to rain. Presumably to catch some rays I suggested, but he didn't like to speculate.
